1970s TOWNHOUSE
CHESHIRE

This 1970's townhouse needed a more sympathetic layout conducive to modern family life. The tiny first floor kitchen, located just off the main sitting room, was completely disconnected from the garden, while the integral garage and ground floor playroom were underutilised spaces.
Converting the garage and opening up the wall to the playroom, created a cosy kitchen and bright entertaining space with direct access to the garden beyond. The brief was to create a better flow in the floorplan, connect the garden to the house while reflecting the clients love of natural materials and colours inspired by her Sardinian heritage, pottery collection and be sympathetic to the property age.
